'Interregnum' (2006) was a site specific piece made for the North Norfolk Exhibition Project exhibition: Salthouse 06, curated by Sarah Cannell. The work was made with reference to the architecture of the church, the specific exhibition space allocated by the curator and the venue's geographical location on the North Norfolk coast. In addition, 'Interregnum' referred viewers to their specific role within the creative process by inviting them to physically play with the work and, momentarily, complete it.  During these interactions, the work became an embodied metaphor, alluding to the cognitive and affective experience of viewing and interpreting works of art.

'Interregnum' (2006) was subsequently shortlisted for the Celeste Art Prize (Exhibition Catalogue) -  Old Truman Brewery, London (2007)
